Your Reward Card
Policy
The prepaid Visa® gift card is offered for many but not all properties on the Apartment Lovers website. Property elgibility, and the amoutn of the gift card available, is dependent on Apartment Lovers' ability to receive a professional fee from the apartment. To make sure that you are eligible for a gift card, talk to your agent or contact Apartment Lovers for specific information about your desired apartment before reporting your lease. The maximum reward card amount is dependent on the size of the apartment: 1BR apartments are up to $100, 2BRs are up to $200, and so on.
If the Reward Card is available for the apartment at which you lease, then the following requirements apply:
- Find your apartment using the Apartment Lovers website.
Residence Required. You must sign a lease and move into the rental property in question. Then Apartment Lovers will validate that (1) you are indeed an occupant whose name appears on the signed lease agreement; and (2) you have lived in the unit for no less than 30 days at the time of verification.
Property on apartmentlovers.com. To qualify for your reward card, the apartment must be listed on the Apartment Lovers website. Renters will not qualify to receive the Reward Card if they find their new apartment through another outside resource associated with the property, including but not limited to:
- Renters who are previous residents of the property.
- Renters who are previous residents of other properties managed, owned, or operated by the same management company.
- Renters who are current or former employees of the property.
- Renters who are current or former employees of properties managed, owned, or operated by the same management company
- Renters who have been referred by an outside apartment locator or a resident of the property other than a locator who works for Apartment Lovers.
Confirmation. Apartment Lovers must be able to confirm that you used the apartmentlovers.com website to find the property.
Make sure the leasing office knows that you found the property using "apartmentlovers.com." Before visiting a property, print your guest card to take with you so that the property knows you were referred by Apartment Lovers. The leasing agent or landlord may ask for your contact information, at which point you should promptly alert them that you were referred by Apartment Lovers. In addition, you should note "Apartment Lovers" as your source wherever possible: on the guest card, rental application, and any other documentation associated with leasing the property. This will enable Apartment Lovers to verify your use of of the site to find the apartment in question.
- Report Your Lease by Completing Apartment Lovers' Report Form to Claim Your Reward Card.
Signed a New Lease. You must have already signed a new lease at a property you found on apartmentlovers.com. If you have signed a previous lease agreement, have a previous relationship with the property, or are simply renewing an existing lease agreement you will not be eligible to receive a reward card. Only one reward card will be granted per lease agreement signed, regardless of the number of persons on the lease. If different cosigners of the same lease submit separate lease report forms, one Reward Card will be granted for person who first submitted the form and is verified by the property.
Reporting Deadline. You must submit your reward card request and report your lease no later than 60 days after moving in to the apartment. Tou can also submit your lease report form prior to move-in and Apartment Lovers will verify your lease promptly.
Expected Timing for Receipt of Reward Card. Processing the lease report form usually takes 6-8 weeks from your move-in date or the day you report your lease, whichever is later. You can track the status of your lease at any time using the "check status" function at apartmentlovers.com
