That he would soon make his movie debut was a given. Saravanan of Saravana Stores has been a well-known figures on the small screen with his penchant to act himself with leading heroines from Kollywood. His firm also sponsored many award functions ensuring his face was prominently displayed on the publicity material. 

Saravanan has finally taken the plunge. His movie to be directed by JD and Jerry will have music by Harris Jayraj. The female lead is Geethika Tiwary. On Sunday, stars like Prabhu and Vivek were in attendance, with the former giving the clap for the muhurat shot. 

While it is not known what kind of the storyline will feature Saravanan, it is certain that there will be quite a bit of curiosity about his debut project. He has been trolled for his love for the camera and those trolls are certain to give his movie quite a bit of publicity, even if much of it may be adverse.
