Trump calls Modi “Father of India”. Internet wonders what happens to Bapu

US President Donald Trump asked Mahatma Gandhi to move, bestowing on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the title of the Father of India. Obviously Trump was blissfully unaware of the fact that the Mahatma is called the Father of the Nation by Indians. He went on to describe India as a land where there was a lot of dissension and fighting before Modi arrived on the scene and he brought it all together. 

Trump did not stop there. The President called Modi “an American version of Elvis (Presley)”.

Soon Father of India was trending on social media.
